Entergy
Problem Entergy, a utility company in the City of New Orleans, was having street-light outage and downed utility pole problems. The company was deploying trucks six nights a week in response to these problems. Entergy workers had to drive around searching for problem spots because there was no method in place to track which areas had downed poles or broken lights. As a result, untold man-hours and money were being lost.
Solution Our team's research compared the current situation of how the utility poles and street lights were being monitored with an automated system which combines wireless data, market processing and photo-sensing technology all in one. We determined that it would be much more cost-effective to switch to an automated method, thereby saving both time and money for Entergy, and suggested several solutions and companies that could successfully remedy the issue.
An Alternative to Traditional Medicine
Problem Two brothers suffering from a chronic condition known as colitis were taking upwards of twelve pills a day. One of the brothers wondered if there was any other way to relieve his symptoms. He found his increased reliance on prescription medication troubling, so he sought our assistance in finding a natural alternative.
Solution Through our intensive research of innumerable internet sources, we were able to suggest natural substances to work as drug replacements. Our research led us to a wheatgrass and oatmeal regimen which would serve as a nature-based substitute to his twelve pills per day. While one brother continued on with his prescribed medication, the other abandoned the pills for the wheatgrass and oatmeal alternative. The brother on the natural method reports the same health as the brother relying on prescription drugs.
